1) $CNAT Oppenheimer out with a OUTPERFORM rating and $16 PT (5.19) Long a few at $5.47 will add on dips to $5 if it comes
Stock gapping up +.20 imo very little risk on this $5 stock I feel once volume comes and finds bottom if it pulls this will be a nice risk/reward play. Right now imo the only risk at $5.40 is .20 cents I like to see this get to $6.50 or $7 on this possibly even today or by early next week.
2) $ZSAN STUPID gapping up on Migraine Patent STUPID (5.46)
Stock Gapping up +90% Janni great SHORT seller in here took the SHORT at $9.25 and so far has walked it down to almost $7.50 imo if this even pops at open it will be just an all day slow fader on it back to $6.75 and under, this is just silly stupid popping on a patent
3) $AOBC Earnings are Mixed (9.41)
Stock Gapping down -$1 this was down at $7 yesterday but the CCall saved the company. At this point I think the stock gradually heads back to $9+ but before it does I like to see small pop followed by a nice sell off on it then look for this to LONG back to yesterdaysclose above $9
4) $PSTG Earnings Beat But Market is pulling it down (21.78) seeing mutiple upgrades on this, this morning
Stock Gapping down -$2 I took a few LONG at $19.98 will add on dips to $18 all the way if it pulls I think this is a little overdone down here and at the very least should gap fill back to yesterdays close, but if it pulls hard at open I will be bouncing it.
5) $AFH Earnings Miss (18.80) Took a nibble LONG at $12.70 will have to give this room to $10 to see if we get the bounce
Stock Gapping down -$6 I think imo this is a little over done down here, but this could get more sell off at the open, I don’t see ANY downgrades or analyst trying to kill this off, so I’m thinking I get 1-2 points on some short covering gap fill at the open then look for topping on it and short it for an all day fader. This will be interesting how this open, if I get $14 or close to it at the open I’m out.
6) $GPS Earnings Beat SSS up as well (31.70) GPS tends to sell off there gaps on Earnings before legging up so be aware
Stock Gapping up +$3 this morning IMO any small pop at open towards $35 I would watch for topping and short this back to $32.50 and under, if this pulls hard at open and your short cover at $32.50 and under then watch for bottom curl then look to go long, It may go lower with the market pulling so lets see if it gets there first.
7) $JD Earnings Miss (46.21)
Stock Gapping down -$4 I would nibble some LONG here at $42 small amount with room to $40 at the open then look for this to push possibly at the open to $44 or a little more before topping off and fading all day, if this pulls at open hard to $39-$40 go long bounce it then fade it all day
8) $FL Earnings Miss (45.88)
Stock Gapping down -$4 I would nibble a few LONG here at $41.60 with room to add on any pull at the open to $40.50 and lets see if it cant bounce to $43 first before going short on it, I like to see some short covering before shorting it at the open, if this pulls hard at open to $40 and under go LONG and bounce it for 2 points or more
9) $AMBA Earnings Beat (45.67)
Stock Gapping up +$2 I like to see a pop at open to $49-$50 scale in some short $AMBA tends to squeeze then fade off on a ll day fader back to $46 and under, if this pulls hard at open and gap fills go long. It will bounce back to pre-market highs.
10) $SPLK Earnings Beat (93.64) AS expected Mutiple upgrades all around $112++ (93.64)
Stock Gapping up +6 I like to see a small pop at open on short squeeze to $99-$100 watch for topping then get in and short it and gap fill it back to $95 and under, if this pulls hard at the open then look for the $95 area to begin nibbling LONG let it set up but more it pulls at open better the play for us to the long side, but expect a solid push first
